Role Overview
We’re seeking a Marketing Director to lead innovative campaign development for artists opting into our marketing credit model. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing rollouts that are culturally fluent, algorithm-aware, and creatively fearless. This role is perfect for someone who can see around corners—who lives in the future of what fans want and how they discover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of multi-platform marketing strategies for artists across genres
Manage marketing budgets tied to artist credit allocations and ensure responsible, ROI-driven spend
Concept and deploy experimental campaigns that push boundaries (IRL activations, meme-based drops, interactive fan moments, etc.)
Oversee digital marketing, paid ads, social strategy, email, and content calendars in coordination with artist teamsAnalyze performance data and adapt strategies in real time to maximize impact
Work closely with A&R, creative, and management to ensure cohesive messaging and visual identity
Stay tapped into emerging tech, platform shifts, and fan behavior to keep No Presets two steps aheadVet and manage third-party vendors (PR firms, creative agencies, digital teams) as needed
Qualifications
3–5 years experience in music, entertainment, or brand marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns
Background in experimental or non-traditional marketing preferred—someone who knows how to turn a moment into a movement
Deep understanding of TikTok, YouTube, DSP trends, and the ever-changing social landscap
Exceptional project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple rollouts simultaneously
Strategic thinker with a bias toward action and a comfort with creative risk
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to pitch bold ideas clearly
Passionate about artist development and building long-term fan engagement
